Est\u00e1 rodeada por picos de m\u00e1s de 6.000 metros, como el Huascar\u00e1n, la monta\u00f1a m\u00e1s alta del Per\u00fa, el Chopicalqui, el Yanapaccha, el Chaccraraju y el Huandoy.
