TOUR SICAN \u2013 BOSQUE DE POMAC <\/strong>(dia entero)<\/p>\n

El recorrido comienza en el Museo Nacional Sic\u00e1n. Este moderno museo tiene una maravillosa colecci\u00f3n de artefactos de Sic\u00e1n<\/strong>, la mayor\u00eda de ellos encontrados durante las excavaciones de Bat\u00e1n Grande.<\/strong> El museo muestra varios aspectos de la cultura Sic\u00e1n a trav\u00e9s de la representaci\u00f3n de la vida dom\u00e9stica y los procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n. Otras salas exhiben tumbas y objetos funerarios. El museo tambi\u00e9n proporciona detalles sobre el proceso de excavaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como informaci\u00f3n sobre la cronolog\u00eda, el desarrollo, las actividades econ\u00f3micas y los patrones de enterramiento del pueblo Sic\u00e1n.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s del recorrido por el museo visitamos el Bosque de Pomac.<\/strong> Ubicado a 22 millas (35 km) al norte de Chiclayo, Bosque de Pomac es una reserva natural de 740 acres (300 ha). La reserva protege no solo una gran franja de bosque seco, sino tambi\u00e9n las ruinas de Bat\u00e1n Grande, la primera capital de Sic\u00e1n. Los Sic\u00e1n (que no deben confundirse con los Sip\u00e1n) fueron una civilizaci\u00f3n antigua que se desarroll\u00f3 en el norte de Per\u00fa entre el 800 y el 1300 d.C. Un arque\u00f3logo japon\u00e9s excav\u00f3 por primera vez el sitio en 1978, pero no fue hasta 1992 que su equipo descubri\u00f3 una tumba de un miembro de \u00e9lite de la sociedad Sic\u00e1n. De esta tumba, se sacaron unas 1,2 toneladas de metales preciosos, en su mayor\u00eda joyas y artefactos religiosos. Estos objetos se encuentran ahora almacenados en el Museo Nacional Sic\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
