Despu\u00e9s de beber un t\u00e9 de coca (opcional) para prepararse para la altura, la ruta se dirige al este hacia la Cordillera Blanca a trav\u00e9s&nbsp;<strong>del Ca\u00f1\u00f3n de Pachacoto.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el camino tendr\u00e1 algunas paradas interesantes como&nbsp;<strong>Patococha (Lago de los Patos)<\/strong>&nbsp;con un paisaje espectacular, el agua carbonatada (no potable) de Pumapampa, las plantas de Puya raimondi que tambi\u00e9n son las bromelias (familia de la pi\u00f1a) m\u00e1s grandes del mundo y pueden alcanzar hasta 10m de altura. Los manantiales de Pumapashimin son asombrosos y sus colores cambian seg\u00fan el brillo del sol, tambi\u00e9n conocido como el manantial de los siete colores, donde los agricultores creen que naci\u00f3 el arco iris.<\/p>\n<p>En el estacionamiento del glaciar (4,867 m), hay una caminata de 30 a 45 minutos (de ida) para llegar al glaciar&nbsp;<strong>Pastoruri<\/strong>&nbsp;en retirada a 5,100 m de altitud, donde se pueden ver de primera mano los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Saliendo del glaciar, habr\u00e1 una parada para un almuerzo tard\u00edo, alrededor de las 3:00 PM o 4:00 PM.
