Dit is een prachtige dag toer vanuit Cusco,<\/strong> voor mensen die bezoeken met actief zijn willen combineren. Je bezoekt\u00a0 de mooi gelegen cirkels van Moray, de zoutpannen van Maras en de ruines \/ kerkje van het inca- weversdorp Chinchero.<\/p>\n

In deze tour maken we 2 wandelingen, weg van het toerisme in prachtige natuur.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderDit alles is gelegen in de mooie heilige vallei, \u00a0omringd door hoge besneeuwde bergen. Onderweg genieten we van een heerlijke pic nic lunch in de vrije natuur.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eerst rijden we met ons priv\u00e9 vervoer naar Chinchero (een kleine 30 km vanuit Cusco ) De stad is gelegen op 3,765 meter boven zeeniveau. Je hebt er een geweldig uitzicht over de Heilige vallei. Chinchero heeft indrukwekkende stenen muren en straten en een koloniale kerk. De kerk van Chinchero dateert uit de koloniale tijd, maar staat op bouwstenen van de Inca’s, met prachtige terrassen er om heen. Na een kort bezoek wandelen we in 40 Min naar de onbekende waterval van Poc poc over een Authentiek stukje incatrail. Deze waterval ligt verscholen, is 25 Meter hoog en word weinig bezocht, de wandeling er naar toe is reeds de moeite! Poc Poc ligt op 3600 mt. Het koude water van deze waterval voed de Urubamba rivier. Het brede stuk Inca-pad, geplaveid met Inca kasseien, voert ons door de bossen en valleien die vol herinneringen zijn aan hoe de Inca’s ooit leefden.<\/p>\n

Nadien klimmen we terug naar ons prive vervoer en rijden we in 1 h richtig Moray<\/strong>. Onderweg zoeken we een prachtige pic nic\u00a0 plaatsje<\/strong> in de vrije natuur, waar we kunnen we onze heerlijke lunch \u2013 box kunnen nuttigen.<\/p>\n

We bezoeken Moray<\/strong> \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest interessante van de Inca constructies – waarvan er wordt gezegd dat het een landbouwkundig laboratorium is. Het terrassen complex heeft de vorm van een amfitheater. Dit was voor de Inca\u2019s de ideale plek om te experimenteren met plantensoorten op verschillende hoogten.<\/p>\n

Na dit bezoek keren we terug naar het oude dorpje Maras<\/strong>, waar onze tweede wandeltocht start. Van achter de kerk van Maras, start de wandeling ( enkel afdalend) in 35 min naar de zoutpannen van Maras. Op deze wandeltocht genieten we van de prachtige besneeuwde bergtoppen ( Apus ) van de heilige vallei. Onderweg kom je weinig toeristen tegen ( op de zoutpannen wel ). Duizenden zoutpannen zijn al sinds de Inca tijd in gebruik. Zout water stroomt uit de grond en wordt opgevangen in bassins die opdrogen in de zon en het zout afzetten aan de oppervlakte. Het zout wordt verzameld en op de lokale markt verkocht.Vanaf de zoutpannen dalen we verder af voor 35 min tot aan Pichingote<\/strong>, waar ons prive vervoer op ons wacht. Na deze dag toer keren we terug naar Cusco, of<\/strong> worden we afgezet in Ollantaytambo, waar we de late namiddag trein naar Aquas calientes nemen, of<\/strong> worden we afgezet bij ons hotel in de heilige vallei, na een mooie dag, vol verscheidenheid.<\/strong><\/p>\n
