Bezoek de Pachacamac-citadel, ook wel het Rome van de Andes genoemd, met zijn tempels, straten, piramides, begraafplaatsen en de thuisbasis van het beroemdste orakel in het Andes-rijk. Mensen uit het hele Tawantinsuyo-rijk bezochten dit heiligdom om te leren wat de toekomst voor zichzelf, hun gemeenschappen en de uitkomst van belangrijke veldslagen, mogelijke droogtes en andere rampen in petto had.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Barranco + Chorrillos<\/strong>
\nWe beginnen onze tour in de traditionele wijk Barranco. We zullen het Central Park, de Bajada de los Ba\u00f1os (de oude loopbrug naar het strand), de bibliotheek, de republikeinse herenhuizen, de Brug der Zuchten en de beroemde Boulevard, de meest Boheemse uitdrukking van het nachtleven in Lima, zien. We bezoeken ook de wijk Chorrillos, een beroemd oud resort waar de Pantanos de Villa (Villa Natural Reserve), het enige beschermde natuurreservaat in de stad, zich bevindt.<\/p>\n

Pachacamac<\/strong>
\nVervolgens bezoeken we Pachacamac, het belangrijkste ceremoni\u00eble centrum in de pre-Spaanse tijd. Al zijn enorme tempels en piramides zijn gebouwd met modder. De naam Pachacamac is Inka \/ Quechua en betekent “Hearth’s Creator”. Iedereen wil naar Pachacamac komen om de maker te bezoeken en te bedanken omdat we de filosofie volgen dat we deel uitmaken van de natuur. Pachacamac was ook de plaats van studies op hoog niveau van astronomie, architectuur, ook een plaats voor oude rituelen en mensenoffers als betalingen aan Moeder Aarde; inboorlingen vierden grote festiviteiten ter ere van de goden.<\/p>\n
