Je gaat vanuit Huaraz naar het zuiden en vervolgens naar het oosten naar de Andes-toppen waar je stopt bij het<strong>&nbsp;Querococha-meer<\/strong>&nbsp;(3.980m) met een aantal prachtige bergpanorama\u2019s. Met een lengte van 2,43 km, \u00e9\u00e9<strong>n van de grootste meren in de Cordillera Blanca,<\/strong>&nbsp;en dichtbij de Cahuish Tunnel (4.516 m) waar je doorheen rijdt en de Andes oversteekt naar de&nbsp;<strong>Callejon de Conchucos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>De weg daalt af naar Chavin en slingert langs verschillende dorpen en een lappendeken van landbouwgebieden. De archeologische vindplaats Chavin de Huantar (3.180 m) dateert van v\u00f3\u00f3r 1.200 v.Chr.<strong>UNESCO Werelderfgoed sinds 1985<\/strong>&nbsp; Hier begint u uw belangrijkste geschiedenislessen van de dag \u2013 wees erop voorbereid om versteld te staan \u200b\u200bvan hoe geavanceerd deze beschaving was.
