Oxapampa is een provincie van het departement Pasco en tevens de hoofdstad van de provincie Oxapampa. Het bestaat voornamelijk uit mensen van Europese afkomst.<\/p>\n

Oxapampa ligt in het centrale deel van Peru en is de grootste provincie in het departement Pasco. Het is gelegen op de rechteroever van de Chontabamba-rivier op een hoogte van 1814 meter boven zeeniveau. Het heeft een oppervlakte van 982 km2<\/p>\n

Een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties in de provincie Oxapampa is het Yanachaga Chemillen National Park, vanwege de grote verscheidenheid aan flora en fauna die daar aanwezig is.  <\/strong>Attracties zijn de geschiedenis van de plaats, de prachtige landschappen en pure natuur en de vreugde van de inwoners.<\/p>\n

Verblijf bij een Belgisch – Peruaans koppel<\/span>  in Chontaqui Ecolodge. De lodge heeft <\/span> 4 Caba\u00f1a en 2 bungalows om te genieten van de rust en het unieke uitzicht. De “eco-lodge” is onafhankelijk van elektriciteit, water en afvoer. Voor het licht gebruiken we zonnepanelen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n

Hoe kom je in Oxapampa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Om naar Oxapampa te komen, duurt het ongeveer 9 uur reizen met de bus,<\/strong> vanuit Lima, via de centrale snelweg, door Chosica, Ticlio, Morococha, La Oyora, Tarma, La Merced, San Luis de Shuaro, Puente Paucartambo om uiteindelijk Oxapampa te bereiken, ongeveer 360 km reizen door drie regio’s.<\/strong>
\nOnderweg zult u een diversiteit aan veranderende landschappen<\/strong> kunnen waarderen naarmate de hoogte toeneemt tot u Ticlio bereikt, het hoogste gebied (4800 meter boven zeeniveau<\/strong>). Afhankelijk van het klimaat zult u de besneeuwde bergen en de omliggende lagunes kunnen bewonderen; Nadien daal je  naar 3500 meter en bereikt u La Oroya. Daal verder af naar de stad Tarma (3050 meter boven zeeniveau), ook wel de bloemenstad genoemd. Na opnieuw 1h 1\/3 afdalen bereik je de Chanchamayo-vallei (700 \/ 800msnm).<\/p>\n

De vallei van Chanchamayo – La Merced,<\/strong> beschouwd als de “Koffiehoofdstad van Peru”  het groene typeert de lage jungle.  Onderweg ziet u fruitbomen.
\n15 minuten van La Merced, in Puente Reiter, is er een kruispunt. Naar rechts gaat het richting de provincie Satipo en naar links richting de provincie Oxapampa. Vanaf hier is het nog 1 h rijden.
\nAangekomen in Puente Paucartambo (ongeveer 1100 meter boven zeeniveau), zullen de inwoners je zeker de heerlijke tamales en vruchten aanbieden. Het is een prachtige omgeving met onderweg onderweg boerderijen met fruitbomen van citrusvruchten, bananen en avocado’s. <\/strong>
\nIn het regenseizoen van december tot april wordt aanbevolen om regen kledij, rubberen laarzen en een jas mee te nemen. Breng tijdens warm weer insectenwerende middelen, korte broeken en sneakers mee; 
\nOp 30 augustus 1891 werd Oxapampa gesticht door de kolonist ENRIQUE BOTTGER TREU, zoon van Duitse ouders. Deze invloeden zijn nog steeds te zien in de vele houten huisjes producten.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oxapampa<\/strong> is een toeristische bestemming geworden, voornamelijk omdat het hier een rustige plek is, weg van de drukte van de stad en vervuiling, een plek waar je altijd goed zal worden ontvangen, gekenmerkt door de vriendelijkheid van zijn inwoners.
\nDe natuur is hier prachtig, omringd door bergen, rivieren en watervallen; bossen en dieren, die wachten om door jou bezocht te worden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De provincie Oxapampa, vanwege zijn geografische diversiteit, is geschikt voor het beoefenen van paragliding, bungeejumpen, kajakken, raften, mountainbiken, rotsklimmen, wandelen en andere sporten die vol adrenaline zijn<\/strong> en die dienen om spanning los te laten.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
