Het landschap zal snel veranderen als we het Tunari-gebergte binnenrijden. Onze trekking begint in Tahua Cruz. Tijdens onze reis zien we prachtige watervallen, bergmeren, landbouwgrond die inheemse gemeenschappen tegenkomt, typisch voor de Andes-landschappen. Na een trekking van gemiddelde moeilijkheidsgraad bereiken we de top van Pico tunari, vanaf hier hebben we een ongelooflijk uitzicht. Met een beetje geluk en heldere lucht kunnen we de Illimani-berg in La Paz van 6462 meter hoog observeren. En natuurlijk hebben we uitzicht over de stad Cochabamba. Deze wandeltocht wordt gekenmerkt door het indrukwekkende uitzicht op de vallei van Cochabamba en het ongelooflijke uitzicht over het Cochabamba-gebergte.<br \/>\nOnze wandeling begint op 4.500 m hoogte en leidt ons door een majestueus landschap van bergen en kristalheldere bergmeren, totdat we de top van de Pico Tunari bereiken<br \/>\n(5.035m) vanwaar we een spectaculair uitzicht hebben over het Cordillera Tunari-gebergte en de hele vallei van Cochabamba.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6681 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/southamericaplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_7211-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/southamericaplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_7211-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/southamericaplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_7211-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/southamericaplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_7211-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Beschrijving van deze wandeling<\/strong><br \/>\nVroeg in de ochtend haalt een gids je op bij je hotel in Cochabamba en vertrekt met priv\u00e9vervoer richting Quillacollo, waar we de hoofdweg afslaan en een bergweg beginnen te beklimmen naar de bergen van de Cordillera Tunari. Op weg naar boven zien we bos van kewi\u00f1a-bomen en met een beetje geluk zullen we de majestueuze condor zien die deze regio bewoont. De weg loopt ook door typische Andesdorpen. Hoe hoger we komen, de met gras bedekte bergen zullen veranderen in rotsformaties waarvan de toppen soms bedekt zijn met sneeuw. We verlaten de hoofdweg en gaan met de auto naar de top van de vallei waar we enkele kristalheldere bergmeren vinden en herder die hun lama&#8217;s en alpaca weidt. Bij het meer \u2018Macho\u2019 drinken we ons typisch Boliviaanse ontbijt, waarna we beginnen aan onze drie uur durende klim naar de top van de hoogste top van centraal Bolivia. Voordat we de top bereiken, zullen we enkele rotsformaties moeten trotseren, obstakels die gemakkelijk te overwinnen zijn, wat onze klim naar de top nog interessanter maakt. Aan het einde zullen we zonder veel moeite boven de 5.000m komen waar we een geweldig uitzicht van 360 graden zullen genieten, we kunnen zien dat de Cochabamba-vallei op onze voeten ligt en als we geluk hebben, zullen we kunnen zien als tot aan de met sneeuw bedekte bergen van de Cordillera Real en de Cordillera Quimza Cruz.
