Hier leefden in het verleden achtereenvolgens Mojocoya\u00b4s en Chan\u00e9&#8217;s, Guaran\u00ed, Inca\u00b4s en later de Spanjaarden. Van deze culturen kun je overblijfselen terug zien op El Fuerte.<br \/>\nIn totaal zul je circa 2 uur op de site rondlopen om alles goed te kunnen bekijken. Na afloop bezoek je het archeologisch museum in Samaipata.
