Starting point: Pick up from the Hotel in Cusco.

Return point: Arrival at the Hotel in Cusco, or sacred valley

Cusco – Chinchero- Pisac

Cusco – Chinchero

We depart with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m. to drive to the town of Chinchero (45 min drive approx.), Chincheros is located 28 kilometers northwest of Cusco, where we will visit the Inca ruins of the town, including the series of well-preserved agricultural terraces that are still used today. In the main square of the town we will find a huge stone wall with ten trapezoid niches. The wall used to be part of the Túpac Inca Yupanqui palace in the 15th century.

We will observe the Colonial Church of Chinchero, which was built in 1607 on Inca limestone ruins. Do not miss the frescoes that decorate the porticoes of the church or the colorful murals that you will find inside.

We will visit the Site Museum, a modest archaeological museum that houses a collection of Inca ceramic objects and instruments, the duration of this entire visit will be for around 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on how you or the group walk.

Chinchero – Waterfall de Poc Poc

After having visited Chinchero 9:30 AM approx.), We will continue with our walk towards the Poc Poc Waterfall (3400 masl) for an approximate of 45 minutes, during the path from Chinchero to Poc Poc we will be able to witness beautiful landscapes in the which our guide will explain us about the flora and fauna that exist in this area, Poc Poc. There are beautiful views. Where, its waters are crystal clear and icy, if you are a nature lover, this waterfall is a beautiful way to connect with it and meditate.

We will find this beautiful waterfall of Poc Poc in the depths of the forest and the mountain of Antaquilca (Apu tutelar de Chinchero). In the waterfall it offers us beautiful views of rainbows which are formed thanks to the spray of water and the brightness of the sun.

It is crossed by the Inca Trail known as (Qapaq Ñan). Therefore, this is a walk that you cannot miss, if you are in the City of Cusco.

We will be arriving at the Poc Poc waterfall at 10:15 a.m. approximately, where we will make a stop for 35 to 40 minutes to enjoy the landscape in which you can take photos and even bathe if you wish, for which you will have to provide a change of bathing clothes in your backpack.

Poc Poc – Urquillos – Mercado Artesanal de Pisac

After having had a pleasant experience in the Poc Poc Waterfall, we will start our walk and head towards the town of Urquillos, the duration of the trail from Poc Poc to Urquillos is for approximately 2 hours, during the journey we can continue to enjoy of the scenic beauty that this place offers us, even passing through traditional houses in the area where you can even make a small stop to enjoy and drink the traditional corn chicha which is the traditional drink of Cusco, we will arrive in Urquillos approximately At 12 am approximately where we can visit the traditional streets of the town and even visit its small square together with its church, our transport will pick us up to be able to go to Pisac.

The travel time from Urquillos to Pisac is approximately 30 minutes for which we will be arriving at the town of Pisac at 1:00 p.m. approximately, where we will make a small stop to have lunch at the restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of typical dishes of the area.

Finishing our lunch at 2:00 p.m. and we will continue with the visit of the archaeological center of Pisac where you will have a guided tour in which you can visit the different attractions of the archaeological center.

The visit to the archaeological center of Pisac is approximately 1 hour, and then go on to visit the craft market of Pisac so that you can buy different souvenirs for your country, in the market of Pisac you can find also beautiful jewelry made from silver .

Finishing our visit in the Colorful and beautiful Pisac Craft Market, our transport will pick us up at approximately 17:00 to return to the city of Cusco and transfer us to your Hotel, which we will arrive in approximately 1 hour.

Or we drop you at your hotel in the sacred valley/ Optional you can stay in Ollantaytambo to continue later on to Machu Picchu
