The colonial white city has many beautiful buildings and houses with antique wooden balconies.

We will walk through the old heart of town so we will pass many of them anyway.

After the pick-up from your hostal or hotel at 9.00 hrs. we will visit the Plaza 25 de Mayo. The main square of Sucre is surrounded by impressive buildings, such as the Town Hall, La Casa de la Libertad where in 1825 the independence of Bolivia was declared, the Prefecture of the Department Chuquisaca and the Metropolitan Cathedral with Renaissance- and Barok details.

We continue walking to the ASUR museum of textiles. Here you can appreciate a variety of weaving of various Bolivian cultures.  There will be some people busy weaving, too, demonstrating various weaving techniques.
From the museum it is only a short distance to  Recoleta, from where you will enjoy  beautiful views over the city.

The tour ends around 12.00 hrs.

It is also possible to do the tour in the afternoon. It starts at 14.30 hrs. then, and ends around 17.30 hrs.
