Colca canyon 2 days tour with Andean condors

Day 1: The normal Colca tour till Chivay
Day 2: Chivay- Arequipa ( or continue to puno)
This tour will give you the best view of the Colca Canyon and the condors.
Day 1: Arequipa -Chivay Colca
Pick up from your respective hotel from 7:30 am to 8:00 am, to go out to the spectacular Colca Valley. Bordering the slopes of the “Chachani volcano”; we arrive at the national reserve of “Salinas y Aguada Blanca” where we will be able to appreciate South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas, alpacas. We continue with our journey and we will make a technical stop of 30 min. Approx. In “Patahuasi” to optionally taste hot drinks such as coca, muña, chachacoma, (Inca mate) to prevent altitude sickness, then we will go to “Tocrapampa” to appreciate natural wetlands, sighting of high Andean birds and migratory birds, we will also stop in the “Mirador de los volcanes” (Patapampa) at 4910 meters above sea level view of the “volcanic mountain range”.
We descend to the town of Chivay, capital of the Colca Valley, for lunch (not included) and accommodation in the respective hotels. In the afternoon we visit the town of Coporaque, cradle of the Collagua culture and walk of 1 hour approx. Towards the archaeological site of San Antonio. Pre-Inca and Inca tombs of Yuraq Q’aqa, then you will be taken to the thermal baths of Umaru or Sallihua. At night, it is optional to visit a tourist club restaurant where you will be able to appreciate representation of some typical Colca dances.( if you stay in Chivay )
Day 2: Condores And return to Arequipa or continue to Puno
In the morning, after breakfast we will go to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint. Passing through the town of Yanque, in the main square every morning you can see an exhibition of local crafts and the representative dance of Colca the “wititi” declared as cultural and intangible heritage by UNESCO, we continue through the magical valley passing through landscapes impressive and traditional villages, arriving at 8:15 am approx. At the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint where we will be waiting for the imposing flight of the condors, huge Andean birds in danger of extinction that are the symbol of the Andes Mountains and the Andean culture, the view from the viewpoint allows us to fully appreciate the dimension of the canyon considered one of the deepest in the world (4160m).
During the return, we will make stops at the Antahuilque, Huayrapunku, and Choquetico viewpoints, places from which we will appreciate the Valley in its maximum splendor and the pre-Inca terraces that until today are used for the sowing of grains and other crops. Finally, we will arrive at Chivay, where we will have alternatives for our lunch. After lunch (13:10 pm approx.) We will return to the city of Arequipa (optional Connection Chivay to Puno h bus .) Arrival to the city of Arequipa 16:30 pm approx.
