This is the best packet to escape lima for the week- end or 2 days

Lima to Ica is a direct journey. Ica is close enough to Lima (189 miles; 304 km 4 h ) to make private transfer the easiest and most convenient means of getting here, ideally as a 2-3 day getaway. Taking the bus is an affordable alternate option. Ica, nice and warm, an other world compared with Lima. The best place to get out for a short break.

Ica is about a 1 hour from Paracas. Paracas is about 3 hour from Lima

Day 1 

Bustickets from Lima with crus del sur to Ica. This takes a bit more than 4 H.

Transfer in Ica from the busterminal to the Oasis Huacachina. Enjoy this nice oasis in the ica desert with a nice pisco sour.

In the late afternoon /Camping in the desert while on vacation is an exciting way to really break free from the regular tours!

The desert of Ica provide some of the best places to go camping. The serene desert that hold the world`s largest sand dunes. Because of its clear night skies, and visibility of the stars is incredible. The desert camping trip / tour starts with our traditional Huacachina Dune Buggy & Sandboarding, than we bring you to  a Sunset place where you can take pictures.

After the Buggy tour, we will bring you and your group to a special camping spot, what we have chosen in the desert. It is a place surrounded by dunes and is protected from the wind, far away from any city lights.

There we will cook you a special BBQ meal over a campfire. The BBQ includes beef and vegetable kebabs, chicken, sausage (chorizo), salad buffet, corn and potatoes. Drink a pisco cocktail while you chat with your travel companions.

Camping equipment is included, but if you need a sleeping bag, we can rent out

Start Time: Between 4 – 4:30pm

Nota/ if you don,t like to camp, you can sleep in hotel in Huacachina or Ica and only do the 1 h sandbuggy tour

Day 2
Return Time: The next day at 6:30am – 8:00am 

Transport from Huacachina to Paracas for 1 h where you can take the nice excursion Ballestas. From where we go to the islands of Ballestas, with hundreds of sea lions and birds and beautiful rock formations. They are therefore sometimes compared to the small Galapagos Islands. The most common animals are seals, pelicans, cormorants, gannets, penguins, and other bird species that use the rocks as a breeding and resting place. A large amount of bird droppings lures millions of fish, which in turn serve as food for the birds, but which have also been used as fertilizers for years. This was one of the largest export products in Peru! Speedboat to the islands with an English-speaking guide, who knows a lot about the animals. To protect the sensitive ecosystem, you cannot enter the islands themselves. The boat go past the 100 m high “Candlestick”, a large drawing in the desert sand on a hill along the coast. Ones back in the harbor, you have tame to relax with some seafood or walk on the beach . In the afternoon transfer to busterminal and crus del sur bus back to Lima ( 4 h )
