You will take a walk with a guide and the day ends with a nice snorkeling tour. Espanola is an island in a remote location, making it a unique jewel with a large number of endemic animal species. Due to the seclusion of the other islands, Espanola’s wildlife has adapted to the island’s environment and natural resources.
Day 3 :
Today you will visit Los Lobos as a half-day tour Isla Lobos is approximately a 40 minutes boat ride from San Cristobal. This small island is home to incredible flora and fauna: sea lions, blue-footed boobies, sea iguanas, frigate birds. The chance of seeing turtles is high here. After arriving by boat, you will take a walk of about 1.5 hours with the guide to admire the animals. Then there is an opportunity to snorkel with playful sea lions. In the afternoon you have the option to visit one of the sites as Cerro Tijeretas or Loberia) The option today is going for a snorkel day tour at Kicker Rock, the famous rock island near San Cristobal.
In the morning, you will have a transfer by water taxi from 07:00 to the island of Santa Cruz. You will arrive at around 09:30. Santa Cruz is the most visited island in the Galapagos, nevertheless, it still gives a relaxed feeling of a coastal town. You can easily mix with the locals here. Take a morning walk to Tortuga Bay or the Charles Darwin Center. You can already go to your hotel and after that, there is enough time to visit one of the many sites on Santa Cruz as Charles Darwin
Day 5 Galapagos
Day tour to the uninhabited island Plazas or Santa Fe. Today you will discover Galapagos with a beautiful day tour to the uninhabited island of Plazas. This is the island of the sea lions and their young. The rocks here are covered with the white guano and with crabs. The landscape is covered with Opuntia cactus, Saltbush, Leatherleaf (Maytenus), and thorny plants (Scutia Pauciflora). In addition to the sea lions, you will learn about land iguanas, Darwin’s finches, red tropic birds, swallow-tailed gulls, brown pelicans, and the occasional frigate bird. In the distance in the sea, you can see dolphins, blankets, and even orcas. Snorkeling is possible in this beautiful place Punta Carrión. The option is to go for 2 days diving from Santa Cruz
