Willkacocha lake is located at the Cordillera Negra, at 3750 meters.

We will start our trip at 6:00 a.m by private transport, after 25 minutos we will arrive to Santa Cruz bridge, where we start with our beautiful trek enjoying of typical village and farm.

After 3 hours walk we will arrive to the small but nice Willkacocha lake. It has panoramic view to the Cordillera Blanca and its mountain such as Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Copa, Shacsha, Caullaraju and much more….

This route has a wide and panoramic view of the Cordillera Blanca and many snow-capped mountains.
You have beautiful views of Callejon de Huaylas valley.
After we stay enough time here, we will get down from the other side until Paria bridge where we will take the transport to back to Huaraz.

This is the best day tour – trek from Huaraz , not so many hour transport, nice and not hard walking and amazing views over Cordillera Blanca
