Huaraz-Alpamayo trekking 10 days
Alpamayo 10 days trekking, cordillera blanca, Huaraz in North Peru
Was selected as the most beautiful mountain in the world during the 1966 Munich photography exposition in Germany. The precise view of a photographer that captured the perfect pyramid silhouette of the Alpamayo was the key to winning the coveted award. Many trails and canyons needed to be crossed in order to obtain the right image and the Cedros gorge is indeed the place for it.
Cedros is an isolated, beautiful and impressive circuit. Condors and eagles will be our inseparable companions during the trek due to the high altitude of 4,000 meters that will be encountered throughout the hike. Mountains and solitude define this amazing trek that although over 10 days long, will probably seem too short for many hikers.
