Lake 69,Llanganuco trekking 2 days from Huaraz
The Llanganuco gorge is one of the most impressive of the Cordillera Blanca. It is surrounded by peaks of over 6,000 meters, such as Huascaran, the highest mountain in Peru, Chopicalqui, Yanapaccha, Chaccraraju and the Huandoy. On the way we will explore rivers, crystalline waterfalls, and diverse fauna such as the Andean goose, wild ducks, vizcacha and eagles.
Our effort is rewarded when we reach the end of our trek, located at the base of the impressive Chacraraju peak.
Itinerary:
Day 1 /Huaraz – Portachuelo- Q. Demanda
We will start at 6:00 a.m. by transport until km 42 near to Portachuelo pass, where we start to walk down to Cebollapampa, during the trek we will enjoy of the many amazing mountains such as: Huascaran, Chopicalqui and more. Walking time 3 to 4 hours and sleep at Cebollapampa 3950m.
Day 2 / Q. Demanda – 69 lakes Huaraz.
After the breakfast we will go up to visit the 69 lake and then we will return to the Llanganuco valley where we will visit Llanganucos lake.
Walking time: 5 to 6 hours.
