Ica and the Pisco Route
One of the great tourist attractions of Ica is without a doubt its more than 85 artisan wineries, known nationally and internationally for being the main producers of wine and pisco in the country

This tour takes visitors to the vineyards that produce pisco, the clear brandy that serves as the main ingredient in pisco sour. We visit 2 Bodegas and sleep in 2 colonial vineyards.

Als we combine with a visit to the oasis of huacachina and ballestas islands of paracas. Day 4 you return back to Lima or continue to Nasca or Arequipa

Day 1 Lima – Ica – Huacachina – QUEIROLO

Bustickets + Crus del sur bus Lima  to Ica. It is a 5-hour drive from Lima. You immediately feel that it is a lot warmer. In Ica you have a private car who brings you to huacachina, an oasis in the desert. Optional you can do a private sandbuggy tour in the amazing sanddunes. In these dunes, you can find the real adventure with Sand buggies.

After a short visit we drive to our first hotel in the middle of the vineyard vinas queirolo where we start with a  welcome drink.

HOTEL VIÑAS QUEIROLO is located in the Ica valley near the foothills of the Andes and surrounded by more than 500 hectares of vineyards, in which the vines that are later used to produce Bodega Santiago Queirolo’s Intipalka wine are grown. The Republican-style hotel has high ceilings, windows with wooden shutters, brick hallways, lanterns and wooden banisters. It also has 89 spacious and comfortable rooms with all the amenities. The Queirolo experience is all about relaxing, resting, learning, sharing, and tasting a lovely wine or pisco in a special and privileged place.

TOUR + TASTING (only in Spanish )
 Tour through the vineyard: walk with Sommelier for approximately 30min through our vineyard where differentiate the type of vines and the growth process of the vine.
 Visit to the distillation area where the elaboration of wine and pisco is explained
 Tasting of 02 glasses of wine and / or pisco 

Day 2 Transport to  Hacienda La Caravedo

Enjoy your breakfast, and swimming pool and relax !You can use your room till midday. Than our private transport pick you up an brings you in 30 min to your next vineyard Hotel & Hacienda La Caravedo

In the valley of Peru on the slopes of the Andes is the oldest working  distillery in all the America dating back to 1684s. From this special place – called Hacienda La Caravedo – we bring you the finest expression of the national drink of our country. Made by skilled artisans with hand-selected grapes grown in their own vineyards. Pisco La Caravedo, Pisco Portón, Pisco Pago de los Frailes and Pisco Toro Santo.

Enjoy the hotel’ and swimming pool. During a stay here, learn all about the pisco making process, explore the property by horse or bicycle.(optional )

And Pisco time ! at 3 pm It takes 2 to 3 H

We will begin this visit by the facilities of 1684 to explain the artisan process of Pisco. Then we will get to know our current plant, where with the highest quality standards, we produce 1 million liters of Pisco per year. We will do the tasting of 4 medal piscos. To close with a flourish, we will learn to prepare 2 delicious Pisco cocktails with our Senior Bartender. We will accompany the experience with seasonal fruits and 01 snacks.

Day 3  Ballestas  + Bus back to Lima or Bus to Nasca 

This morning we enjoy breakfast  around 9 Am we will drive  in private transport to the Harbor of Paracas ( about 35 min )from where we go to the islands of Ballestas at 10 am , with hundreds of sea lions and birds and beautiful rock formations. They are therefore sometimes compared to the small Galapagos Islands. The most common animals are seals, pelicans, cormorants, gannets, penguins, and other bird species that use the rocks as a breeding and resting place. A large amount of bird droppings lures millions of fish, which in turn serve as food for the birds, but which have also been used as fertilizers for years. This was one of the largest export products in Peru! Speedboat to the islands with an English-speaking guide, who knows a lot about the animals. To protect the sensitive ecosystem, you cannot enter the islands themselves. The boat go past the 100 m high “Candlestick”, a large drawing in the desert sand on a hill along the coast. Ones back in the harbor there is transfer to the Crus del sur busterminal, from where you can take the bus to Lima ( 4 h ) or Nasca (3 h )
